August parish council meeting

The parish council meeting on Friday 14th August will be a ZOOM meeting due to the ongoing COVID19 government restrictions.

This will be a Virtual Meeting due to the COVID19 pandemic restrictions



  1.         Apologies
  2.         To confirm minutes of the previous meetings  10th July 2020 and 17th July 2020
  3.         Councillors :
    1. Disclosure of any undeclared interests and notification of dispensations granted
  4.         Residents :
    1. Declarations of interests in speaking on agenda items
    2. Opportunity for Residents to raise issues/concerns, not on this agenda
  5.         COVID19 Pandemic response update including virtual meetings and future action plan
  6.         To receive Reports  From District & County Councillors, and Parish Councillors on their area of

responsibility not covered elsewhere on the agenda

  1.         Finances:         
    1. To receive and consider approval of the Monthly Financial Report
    2. To consider authorisation of the invoices for payment schedule
    3. Annual review of financial controls
  2.        Grant Requests and funding applications [section 106]  including
    1. The Walton Trust b. any other project     c.   the annual precept grant process
  3.         East Mead Lane field
    1. To consider future use and layout – community orchard, etc.[brought forward from July meeting]
    2. Installation of benches [brought forward from July meeting]
  4.         Future Planning
    1. To consider original areas proposed and progress [brought forward from July meeting]
    2. Trees within the parish
  5.        Roads, Traffic & Footpaths To consider reports & to agree on any action required
  6.        Walton In Bloom
    1. To consider moving the date on which this is judged
    2. This year’s results                 
  7.        Visual History Project
    1. Update
    2. Councillor area of responsibility as required
  8.        Planning
    1. To receive any planning decisions reported
    2. Planning Applications received for consideration as at the date of agenda
    3. To consider any General Planning concerns
  9.        Consultations including Revised Code of Conduct     
  10.        Dates of upcoming meetings & events.
